Friends of Heartland Honorary Council
Friends of Heartland Honorary Council
The Executive Director, staff, HEART Board, and Member Board develop an annual list of potential Honorary Council candidates, which is reviewed and approved by both boards.
Honorary Council members are individuals and organizations that have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to Heartland's mission and share a passion for advancing mental health and well-being throughout the Denver area.
Members are invited to support our work in ways that match their interests and availability while helping strengthen collaboration across the mental health community. This may include participating in special events, community outreach, advocacy, fundraising, program development, training, or sharing expertise. Members may also be contacted if unexpected needs arise where their knowledge, experience, or connections could help further Heartland's mission and strengthen mental health services throughout the Denver area.
Candidates may include former board members, dedicated financial supporters, community leaders, mental health professionals, partner organizations, and other individuals or organizations identified by staff or board members whose expertise, leadership, or community involvement would benefit Heartland's mission.
New Honorary Council members are inducted during our annual fundraising celebration held each fall.
