Heartland Mental Health is a community mental health center in Denver, Colorado. Located in the Capitol Hill area, we offer adults effective and personalized mental health treatment options at a small clinic where staff are passionate about meeting you where you're at. Our team of Denver mental health counselors can help you manage mental health symptoms when you need it most – even if that means providing long-term support.  

At our Denver mental health center, the Heartland Clinic, we provide member-centered outpatient services which include:

  • individual counseling

  • medication management

  • therapeutic group and recreational activities

  • case management

  • monitoring overall health, including dental

We provide mental health treatment for low-income individuals managing a variety of mental health conditions including schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, major depression, and bipolar disorder.

We believe everyone’s experience is valuable and everyone’s voice matters. We offer skills training and an employment program for members. We also have opportunities to get involved with advocacy and leadership to have a direct role in governing the organization.

Insurance Information

We accept Colorado Medicaid (Health First Colorado) for adults living in Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, Aurora, and Douglas counties.
