Our annual Friends @ Heartland Breakfast event is back!
Join us in person to celebrate our Heartland Mental Health community and learn more about our programs and recent updates. It is free to attend and everyone is invited. A light, complimentary breakfast will be served.
Highlights of our program include:
Hearing from our new Executive Director, David Barnes,
Our peer members sharing stories of resilience, connection, and supportive services, and
Induction ceremony of new members into our Friends @ Heartland Honorary Council: Annie Lee, Betty Bona & Philip Pearlman, and Diane Lighthall.

The event is free but we appreciate your RSVP! It helps ensure we have enough seats and food. RSVP here (click on the ‘Register’ button).

Parking Details
We encourage carpooling or using ride share services. Attendees are also encouraged to arrive early to find parking. Guests can park in the Rec Center parking lot for free if spots are available. If the lot is full, there is metered street parking along Colfax.
There are a couple of bus stops nearby:
- 24, Josephine St & Colfax Ave
- 15, Colfax Ave & Josephine St
