Submit your artwork to be considered for “Art of Wellness”
PLEASE NOTE: Participating artists will receive a free ticket to the Art of Wellness 2023 event.
There is a maximum of 3 submissions allowed per person, with the chance of up to 2 pieces per person being accepted in the event.
Art of Wellness is an art exhibition open to any and all artists. This is a fundraising event for Heartland Mental Health, a nonprofit community mental health clinic in the Capitol Hill area of Denver, Colorado.
Event proceeds provide funding for high-impact mental health services for individuals managing chronic mental health conditions. Our programs include individual counseling, peer support and a peer employment program, recreational activities, medication management, support monitoring overall health, and a daytime drop-in center.
After completing this application, take a photo of your artwork and email it to Shannan@heartlandmh.org along with this application, or print the photo and mail it with this application to the address listed below.

Price of Artwork/Proceeds: We ask all artists to set the price for which they would like to sell their artwork. If the artwork sells, a minimum of 50% of the price will be donated to Heartland Mental Health, and the artist will receive the rest. (Artist can choose to donate between 50-100% of the proceeds).
Exclusions: All submitted artwork will be considered for exhibition, though there is no guarantee that your artwork will be exhibited. An Events Committee reviews and approves submissions.
Image: Take a picture of your artwork and send to shannan@heartland.org. Include your name and title of your piece in the email.
Promotion: Artist agrees that Heartland Mental Health may use images of the artwork for marketing and promotional purposes. (If an image of your artwork is used, we will credit you along with the photo).
Rules: After reading each line below, you will be asked to agree to the following in your application:
I understand that I’m donating at least half the proceeds of the sale of my artwork.
I understand that Heartland Mental Health employees will be handling my artwork. I understand they will take utmost care in preventing any damage, but that when moving pieces, there is risk of potential damage. Heartland Mental Health, its volunteers, staff and affiliates accept no responsibility for accidents/loss/damages.
If my artwork is selected, I am able to bring my art to the Heartland Mental Health clinic in Denver, CO
