Art for Mental Health

  • Carla Madison Recreation Center 2401 East Colfax Avenue Denver, Colorado, 80206 United States (map)

Event Description

Join us for Art for Mental Health, an evening that explores the connection between creativity and emotional well-being. Through an interactive activity, meaningful conversation, and opportunities to connect with others, you'll learn how art can encourage self-expression, reduce stress, and strengthen our sense of community.

We'll recognize and welcome new members into the Friends of Heartland Honorary Council, honoring community leaders and supporters whose commitment helps expand access to mental health services.

You'll also gain a better understanding of Heartland and how therapy, peer support, and community programs help people find hope, build a sense of belonging, and realize they don't have to face life's challenges alone.

Whether you come with friends, colleagues, or on your own, we hope you'll leave feeling inspired, encouraged, and with a renewed appreciation for the role creativity and connection can play in our lives.

No artistic experience is needed. The creative activity is completely optional, and everyone is welcome to participate at their own comfort level.
